August 5th 1:00-3:00PM Location: A&S 5 "An essential garment in every nihonjin wardrobe! We’ll discuss construction of this Japanese garment, based on a Tokyo National Museum example. The predecessor to the kimono, the kosode was worn by both men and women throughout most of Japanese history. A visual, step-by-step example of its construction will be presented. Extra time is allotted for consultations. Please bring along your own materials if you would like assistance starting your pattern." Due to distractions elsewhere, I have not been able to offer as many courses during the spring months as I would have hope. But summer is upon us, which means WAR......Pennsic War, that is.
